After winning the World Silver Medal at the 2022 New York Festivals TV and Film Awards, “Limitless: a musical trilogyrestores recognition to the public with the Philippine television broadcast of Julie Anne San Josevery successful concert on May 15, 22 and 29 on GMA.
Airing at 2 p.m. after All Out Sundays, the three-part special gives viewers the chance to experience Julie’s musical journey beginning with “Breathe,” where she traveled to Mindanao; followed by “Heal”, which was shot in the Visayas; and finally, “Rise”, which took place in Luzon.
As the world faced the challenges of the global pandemic, Unlimited was conceptualized to inspire Filipinos around the world to never lose hope. Set in scenic landscapes in select cities and provinces of the Philippines, Limitless reminded everyone that anyone can be limitless.
And at the recently concluded New York Festivals TV and Film Awards, the GMA Synergy-produced musical reaffirmed its world-class quality by beating out entries from other countries and winning the Silver World Medal in the Entertainment Special: Variety Special category. .
“With every Filipino, we have shown the world that with our unwavering strength and faith, we can meet the challenges of this global pandemic. Our journey to Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon has taken us to many heights, and we still face plus our return to the stage with our audience face-to-face. We continue to share these experiences through various platforms to inspire more hope and spark even more courage to face every tomorrow,” Julie said in her acceptance speech.
“We are very pleased that ‘Limitless’ won the ‘Silver World Medal’ as part of the ‘Entertainment Special – Variety Special’ at the 2022 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards – a first for GMA Network in this category,” said GMA Regional TV and Senior Vice President of Synergy Olivier Victor Amoroso. “Limitless was conceptualized and produced at the height of a global pandemic, and we are extremely proud of the synergy of all departments and groups within the GMA network. Thanks to Limitless, Julie was able to open up more to the public: who she is beyond being a singer, composer, dancer, multi-instrumentalist and actress. Her fans got to know her different sides, learned more about her passions, and loved her even more because of it.
Limitless has seen Julie collaborate with some of the country’s top musical talent including Christian Bautista, Jong Madaliday, Myke Salomon, Jessica Villarubin and Rayver Cruz.
