  • The White Sox are so bad that Ozzie Guillen couldn’t hold his tongue for a moment longer. Following Wednesday’s loss to Cleveland, Guillen ripped Sox manager Tony La Russa for grooming underperforming players on an underperforming team once considered a World Series contender. (CNB5)
  • Three men face felony charges in the Saturday morning shooting at Sean’s Rhino Bar in Beverly who dragged an off-duty police officer and was shot and wounded. Officer Dan Golden, 32, was shot in the back. A bullet remains lodged in his lung. (CBS2)
  • IAld said. Edward Burke’s corruption trial is scheduled for November 2023. This gives Burke a chance to run for re-election while facing federal charges for the second time. (FOX32)
