The Mosaic World Film Festival (MWFF) 2022 has lined up its lineup of 78 films for its 15th annual event to be held at the RPL Nordlof Center in Rockford, Illinois from September 16-18.
This year’s selections were selected from hundreds of submissions and 57 countries around the world, including this year’s MWFF Spotlight Feature Award winner “The Justice of Bunny King” directed by Gaysorn Thavat and starring Essie Davis and Thomasin McKenzie. There will be 2 receptions in addition to film screenings. The 1st will take place on Friday evening,
On September 16 at 6 p.m., the festival will hold the opening night event, with
appetizers and drinks. There will even be a cake to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the event!
The 2nd Reception is the annual Filmmakers Reception to be held on Saturday evening, September
5 to 6 p.m. This event will also offer free appetizers and drinks, and plenty of
regional filmmakers will be present. During the screening of the regional filmmaker that evening, we
have question-and-answer sessions with the filmmakers in attendance.
Tickets are available for pre-sale online on the festival’s Participate page. A full festival, 3 day pass is
only $10. Day tickets are also available at $5 per day. Sessions not sold in advance
will have tickets on sale at the box office beginning September 16. A weekend pass is only $10
and a day ticket is $5. We accept credit or cash.
High school and college students with a valid school ID can receive a free daily pass if seats
are available. You will need to show up in person at the ticket office on the day you plan to
