American audiences will be able to stream the EE British Academy Film Awards live for the first time in two weeks on BritBox.
The 75th ceremony will be broadcast from London’s Royal Albert Hall on SVoD in the US, Canada and South Africa on Sunday March 13, with the BBC broadcasting in the UK.
American audiences have never been able to broadcast the Oscars precursor awards at the same time as the UK before, although BritBox has been broadcasting the Britannia Awards from BAFTA LA for three years.

“As home to Britain’s largest collection of entertainment, we felt it only natural to bring the biggest discount to our BritBox viewers,” said Emily Powers, Head of BritBox North America.
