The IMAGO Iter is a customizable cabin on wheels

Japanese company Bess simplifies the concept of the tiny house on wheels with the versatile IMAGO iter cabin. It’s basically a caravan that you can take with you, whatever your adventure.

This cab gives you 70 square feet of floor space and a standing height of 7.8 feet to give you room to fill it with everything you need to make life on the road comfortable. You can even make it your mobile office. It can accommodate a bed, a small sofa, tables and chairs. It weighs 4,600 pounds, so you have the freedom to customize it to your needs before it becomes too heavy for transport.

The iter IMAGO cabin uses 70mm thick cedar wood for its walls and brings in the outdoor landscape, ventilation and natural lighting through windows on all four sides. One is an oversized sliding window that doubles as an entrance. This way you don’t get claustrophobic by staying indoors.

As with the open floor plan, this log cabin is unpainted so you can choose your favorite color. The roof is also available in two options. You can have the traditional wooden flat roof to literally turn it into a log cabin on wheels. You can also choose a domed plastic membrane in the shape of a wagon for the roof.

The iter IMAGO cabin is devoid of any upholstery or finishing, so you only get the four-sided cabin on four wheels. It is designed for a stable ride and Bess guarantees that it is equipped with electromagnetic suspension and brakes. It has also been tested by the Japan Automobile Research Institute.
