As part of the hybrid edition of the Cannes Film Market, the ninth edition of Go to Cannes the initiative is ready to roll out its selection. This year, five international film festivals and markets from Europe, Asia and South America will present their selection from a total of 26 projects currently in post-production.
The Goes to Cannes sessions will take place from June 9 to 12 and these selections will be presented during two-hour pitching sessions in Cannes. Online participants will be able to attend these sessions virtually, as they will be projected onto the Internet in their local time zone.
Among the festivals associated with this edition, three regular participants, the New Horizons International Film Festival from Poland, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival from Greece and Hong Kong – Asian Film Funding Forum (HAF), while Tallinn Black Nights will join for the first time as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of PÃFF, alongside SANFIC Industria – Santiago International Film Festival.
