Tweetfest returns to a physical event this year, following last November’s virtual festival. With projections to the Hen and the Chickens, and the Essay (squatting end) in London, this seems to be another great collection.
Now in its 7th year, Tweetfest is getting used to watching short films and going out to theaters for their screenings (with popcorn and wine of course). Over the years, over 20 different VIP jury members have watched the short films of the finalists, and over 20 of the first round judges have watched hundreds of films. Hand on heart, they say, every year they are surprised and delighted by the remarkable filmmakers who continue to produce brilliant short films that wow everyone. Looking at the list, you’ll feel the same when you watch this year’s short film lineup.
The screenings are grouped by theme, and you can purchase tickets for each block of films. Here is their official selection for 2021:
